what is the typical workflow of a shooting session?

Shootings typically happen like this:
  1. First contact by email or phone (+41 22 800 1655)
  2. At least one meeting in person
  3. The price estimate and usage license contract
  4. Planning, scouting and session preparation
  5. The shooting session (an hour, a day, a week or more)
  6. Post-processing days (one or more)
  7. Digital delivery on archive.enriquepardo.com
  8. Physical delivery (prints and/or USB key)
  9. The invoice
  10. Celebration of how nice it was and how much you wish to hire me again! :)

what about failure?

Failure is always an option because we are human.

When you hire me, you agree that you are hiring a human being who can not predict when things (or other human beings) will go wrong.
Problems happen, but most of the time, everything runs smoothly.

To limit the event that something goes wrong during a shooting, please consider the following points:

  • Listen to your intuition
  • Communicate better.
  • Give the same information to all team members
  • Look ahead and plan well in advance
  • Expect people to work with you, not for you.
  • Don’t hide behind email. Connect to people in person.
