From Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Sukhothai, Koh Samui and more, I wandered across Thailand in January 2008 by train, plane, boat and even elephant back. Close to my origins, I felt in all places welcome and at home. The fabulous food, diverse scenery and the everlasting, ubiquitous smiles of the Thai people make me want to return very soon to discover more.
