Borana is a private ranch in Kenya, north of Nairobi and Mount Kenya. My good friends Charlie & Olivia Burrows managed one of the few lodges on the property owned by the Dyers family. I was there in December 2007 and was immersed for three weeks far from what I had ever experienced. It was also a photographic experience because with a longest lens of 50mm, there was certainly little chance to do a wildlife photo safari.
