Tsukiji is almost a city in the city. Its’ inhabitants don’t talk much, they hold their breath. They move little and can’t swim far. They sit still, but don’t lie to their cold beauty. They wait in a deadly silence. They almost seem aware of their fate: pleasure in someone else’s plate.
