Pho­tograph­ing the World Economic’s Forum every­day life is a chal­leng­ing task for me. Hav­ing designed their web site in my designer’s past more than ten years ago, I thought that my knowl­edge of their busi­ness would eas­ily help me pro­duce the pho­tographs I had in mind. My first shots proved me wrong and urged me to a new eye.

To cap­ture the inner atmos­phere of the Forum is like try­ing to deliver honey to a bee hive. The com­pany who thrives to build com­mu­ni­ties is a vibrant one itself and it has not been easy to accom­mo­date to the buzz of hun­dreds of peo­ple evolv­ing in such a gen­er­ous work­space. This first series of pho­tographs could seem too calm to trans­late what I describe. They are almost in slow motion for some. How­ever, if one looks deeper into them, one may begin to hear the Forum’s heart beat…
